Panasonic's slimline SV-SD870N music player is big on battery life

MP3 players

pana_dap.jpgPanasonic isn’t the first name you might think of when it comes to MP3 players, but the SV-SD870N certainly could be a contender.

It’s a lightweight (40g) and slimline player with a noise cancellation feature – 83 per cent of background noise can be eliminated if you so wish. And the battery life is impressive too – up to 100 hours of music playback. Storage is via SD card, with direct recording available to the card via a compatible Panasonic D-Dock device.

It’s sold with a 2GB SD card, supports AAC, WMA and MP3 and is available in a variety of colours. No news of a Euro launch as yet – but if you’re in Japan, you should be able to pick one up in the coming weeks.
