Over in the US at the Photo Marketing Association Show (PMAs), Kodak showed off several more cameras in addition to the few V-series models they touted at CES. This EasyShare Z1012 IS is high up there on the food chain, with a 10-megapixel sensor and 12x optical zoom lens.

You want more features? You’ve got them – there’s also optical image stabilisation, a high ISO of up to 3,200, plus the ability to tinker with the aperture and shutter. It should retail for $299.95, but as with all the new cameras being announced in the US, we don’t have UK pricing just yet.

There’s a really nice sounding new feature in the Z1012, with users able to now create multimedia slideshows with your chosen photos and music. So now you can bore all your friends with your emo photo slideshow and matching My Chemical Romance soundtrack.
