pyramat-pc-gaming-chair.JPGOkay, so calling something 2.1 doesn’t exactly make it sound like a revolution, but anyway. Pick of gaming furniture maker Pyramat’s new CES products is the PC Gaming Chair 2.1, which gives you a comfy seat surrounded by all manner of audio goodness.

It connects to your PC via a built-in wireless receiver, so there’s no dangling wires to trip over. It’s got two full-range speakers, and a subwoofer to make those screams in Crysis sound even more blood-curdling. A mouse wheel and touch controls are located on the armrest.

What if you’re just sitting doing some work? A-ha, well, you can connect your MP3 player to the chair and listen to your songs through it (although if you’re on the PC, surely you’d just have it hooked up to iTunes anyway?). The PC Gaming Chair 2.1 costs $249.99 in the US – watch this space for UK distribution news.

  • omg all the electronic stuff seems to be pointless…if you’re on pc and you’re buying a “gaming chair” you prob got better sound than 2.1 already. And why would you need a second set of controls?
