Sony Ericsson has announced the MD300, a pocket-sized gadget that offers easy access to the net wherever you are via your USB port.

It has Microsoft Windows software and drivers built in and the card installs and configures itself when plugged in, so you should be online in seconds via the Wireless Manager interface and on a HSDPA, UMTS, EDGE or GPRS network.

The MD300 will be available in ‘luxury’ black and metallic silver from early 2008.
