Sagem launches my220x handset for under £15

Sagem’s latest budget handset is the my220x – and you can pick it up or under £15.

It has the looks of a more expensive model, with gold trim and gold disc menu button, not to mention the slimline look (just 10mm thick). But what it has in looks it lacks in features, with the highlights being a 65k colour LCD screen, hands-free capability with speaker phone, SMS and vibration alert. Talk time is 180 minutes, with 240 hours standby time.

So not cutting edge, but if you just want the basics, certainly value for money. It’s available on Virgin pay-as-you-go from Argos for £12.49 or Woolworths for £14.99.
