Medion has announced two additions to its GoPal range of satellite navigation systems.

The GoPal E4310 features the GoPal 3.0 PE navigation software, 1.5GB of memory, maps of the UK, Ireland, and Western Europe, voice activation, 3.5-inch TFT colour screen, details of speed cameras, and Bluetooth. It measures 99 x 85 x 21mm, weighs 160g, and is priced at £189.99.

The GoPal P4425 (pictured) features the GoPal 4.0 PE navigation software, with advantages over the E4310 of Medion touchless technology, allowing all menu options to be accessed by spoken commands for safe, entirely hands-free navigation. It also features a widescreen 4.3-inch colour TFT screen, and a fingerprint sensor offering greater security. It measures 124 x 81 x 17mm, weighs 179g, and costs £299.99.

Both models use rechargeable lithium-ion batteries with an average life of four to five hours. They can take memory cards up to 2GB, but do require a Windows system for syncing.

Both available from November.
