A new weekly post, focusing on the stuff we’re doing that’s stopping us from doing the stuff we should be doing. If that makes sense. First up: Skype emoticons.
They’re not a new thing – we’ve been popping silly expressions and animations in MSN Messenger for ages. They’re probably not even new to Skype. But the ability to moon a business contact while in a serious VoIP teleconference is our hot new thing this week nonetheless.
If you haven’t discovered them yet, they work by typing words inside brackets, and there’s a big list here. Get to it, timewasters. That spreadsheet can wait till the morning…
