Pioneer unveils MT01 sound system with motion detection technology

Home audio

Pioneer has unveiled the MT01, a fairly standard sound system but for one thing – motion detection.

So, rather like a home security system, any movement in the room will kick in the music – like you opening the door for instance. Although on the downside, something falling over, the dog or even an insect could lead to a blast of sound. Aside from that, the system seems to offer 2x USB and 3 other inputs, a small and large speaker and a remote control.

No news on a price or indeed if this will make it out of Japan.
