Ultimate Ears triple.fi 10 Pro – listen like a professional
If someone asks over £200 for a pair of earphones, they’re either mad or selling something special. Ultimate Ears claims the triple.fi 10 Pro earphones are very much the latter.
They’re claimed to be the ‘sonic equivalent of sitting in the world’s best recording studios’. Housed in the body are three individual balanced speakers and an integrated passive crossover circuit board, which directs the low-end frequencies to a dedicated speaker for bass, the mid-range frequencies to a speaker for the vocals and the high frequencies to a speaker dedicated for treble.
If that’s not enough, there is also 46 inches of cables with a gold-plated plug, passive noise cancellation, comfortable/secure ear loops and interchangeable tips for something approaching a custom fit. All that for £223.
