iStuff has launched the iCast Autoscan FM Transmitter, reducing iPod playback on the road to the touch of a button.
Yes, just hook it up, activate with the press of that button and all the best frequencies are found and saved in seconds. It runs off an independent power source from the car, power lead or single battery (so no drain on your iPod’s power) and its LCD screen displays both your current FM frequency and how much power is left in the battery. There’s also an auto on/off to save even more power.
And it’s not just for iPod – it plugs into any standard headphone jack, which means it will fit any and all portable audio devices with a standard headphone jack. The iStuff iCast Autoscan FM Transmitter will be available from July 2007 priced at £29.99.
