Final piece on the Sony Ericsson launch today – and another clamshell. This time the Sony Ericsson Z320, which claims to have retro looks – meaning it looks like a traditional, no-thrills clamshell as far as I can tell.

It’s entry-level and with a specification that will keep you happy if you stick to calling and messaging. It also packs a reasonable 1.3 megapixel camera with night mode and white balance, ample storage for 100 of your latest shots and a retro style icon display for incoming calls and messages. Yes, they’re sticking to that retro theme right until the end – and I’m still not convinced.

Available in a colour choice of Crimson Red or Atlantic Blue and with optional interchangeable covers, it should be around towards the end of summer.
