Three reasons worth cooing over HP’s new Photosmart D7460 printer. First, it’s fast: printing up to 33 colour pages a minute, and blasting out photo prints in under ten seconds at up to 4800-optimised dpi resolution.

Second, it’s got a 3.5-inch touchscreen that can be used to edit shots on a memory card before printing them. And third, it’s connected up to the eyeballs, with built-in Wi-Fi and Ethernet.

The D7460 is due on sale in August in the US, costing $179 (about £90).
