Air your views on the BBC's HDTV plans

As we previously reported, the BBC has been given the go-ahead to launch a service in conjunction with ITV to launch a satellite-based HDTV service in the future. But before those plans are made a reality, it wants to know what you think.

The views of licence fee payers and stakeholders are being sought on the role the BBC should play in the development of HD in the UK, the extent to which the service represents a desirable use of the licence fee, and how distinctive the proposals are from other HD services in the market. The BBC Trust is currently examining what public value would be created by the launch of the proposed new service.
