As we previously reported, the BBC has been given the go-ahead to launch a service in conjunction with ITV to launch a satellite-based HDTV service in the future. But before those plans are made a reality, it wants to know what you think.

The BBC Trust is currently examining what public value would be created by the launch of the proposed new service.
