Packard Bell launches Compasseo 810 and 830 sat nav systems

More GPS-meets-media player, this time from Packard Bell, which has launched the 810 and 830 GPS systems.

The specification includes 400MHz Samsung processor, 64MB of RAM and a four-inch touch screen with the usual methods of finding our way, but with the added help of live traffic information (TMC) to keep you moving. Memory can be expanded via SD card and you can sync with your Outlook contacts. In terms of media, there’s playback of MP3, AVI, WMV and MP4 files.

The 810 has 1GB worth of maps on an SD card, and TMC Live traffic info, while the 830 offers 2GB of SD space and expanded TMC Live Plus info. The 810 retails for 299 Euros from May, while the 830 arrives in June for 449 Euros.
