Earlier this week we featured the Becker Mexico, a sat nav system with plenty of style and a price tag to match. So to balance things out, here’s a GPS unit from the other end of the spectrum – the Mustek GPS 200.
It’s very much a non-nonsense navigational device, with little thought put into the styling, but with all the basic functionality covered – and for a reasonable price. So if function matters more than form, this could be for you. The GPS 200 packs in a 4.2-inch touch screen, SiRFstar III GPS receiver, Destinator 6 software with maps for the whole of Europe and traffic news as optional plus optional traffic guidance.
And when you park up, there’s the option of music via or MP3 or video from MPEG-4 files. There’s also SD / MMC connectivity.
Coming soon, expect it to retail for around £170.
