I’m not sure what kind of picture you are going to capture with a digital camera in one hand underwater, but if you want to give it a try, you can soon check out the Vivitar 6200W.
It’s a six megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom. But don’t go down too far – there’s no flash. What it does have is an ability to go as far as 10m underwater, SD support up to 1GB and a two-inch display.
There’s also 16MB of internal storage, PictBridge support and a rubber casing that should keep it safe from bumps, knocks and shark teeth. Ok maybe not the last one. No release date as yet, but the price is quoted at $233 in the US
