Skype Pro – subscription package VoIP calling

Skype has launched Skype Pro in Europe, a subscription-based package that offers free calls to landlines, along with premium Skype features and discounts on hardware.

The package will cost you €2 (or equivalent) per month and gives you the option of free calls to domestic landlines, which previously cost €0.017 per minute. There’s also free voicemail, €30 discount on SkypeIn numbers and a discount on selected cordless or W-Fi phones.

Skype Pro will initially be available in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, Portugal, Spain and the UK, with other countries to follow.
