Sharp's 65-inch portrait mode HD-ready LCD TV

Over at HDTVUK, there’s a TV with a difference – the PN-655RU from Sharp operates in portrait mode.

It’s a whopping 65-inch set, with full 1080p, along with 1080×1920 resolution and a cold-cathode fluorescent backlight that provides an enhanced color spectrum for deeper, more vibrant and vivid colours. As you might have guessed, it’s not for the home market – more for corporate displays. And the £30,000 price tag probably wouldn’t have suited your pocket either.
