CES 2007: Samsung's S630 and S730 digital cameras

Share

samsung_s730.jpgYet more point and shoot cameras from Samsung at the CES – this time the 6MP S630 and the slightly upgraded 7MP S730 model.

The pixel count is just about the only difference between the two cameras – they even look identical. Aimed at beginners, all the settings are automated, so you just need to press the “shoot” button. They also feature Samsung’s ASR image stabilisation system for better images in lower light.

There’s also a 2.5-inch screen, red-eye reduction, dedicated scene modes, video at 15fps, voice recording and 20MB of storage (which can be boosted by SD or SDHC cards).

The shelf date for both models is early 2007. Price to be announced nearer launch date.
