CES 2007: Microsoft to deliver Vista UMPC (Origami) devices

CES 2007, Computers

vista.jpgThere are plenty of rumours that Microsoft will try and reignite interest in its UMPC handheld PCs at CES 2007. The first generation of models hardly set the consumer electronics world alight. This time round the models will almost certainly run the Vista OS and retail for a lot less than the original £700 plus asking price.

They will have competition from Nokia’s Linux based N800 and maybe, the next generation of the Pepper Pad.
