Remember back in the early days of the iPod mini when they came in funky colours? Well, Apple has decided to introduce some colour into their second generation Nano, and up their storage capacity along with it.

Now there’s 2Gb, 4Gb and 8Gb versions available in a variety of colours. The 2Gb version comes in silver, the 4Gb has the widest range with silver, green, blue and pink, whilst the 8Gb version comes in black.

Looks? Apple says “With its new anodized aluminum enclosure and rounded edges, iPod nano looks as dazzling as it feels. And it’s sleeker than ever — 3.5 inches tall, 1.6 inches wide, and just over quarter of an inch thin.”

Its screen is 40% brighter than before, for better viewing of your photos and album art, and it claims to give up to 24 hours battery life.

It comes with earphones, USB 2.0 cable, and dock adapter, plus free laser engraving, and starts at just £99 for the 2Gb version, £129 for the 4Gb, and £169 for the 8Gb nano.
