Sound advice over at Hippyshopper about how you can help with the prediction of climate change.

It’s all to do with distributed computing – networking thousands of individual computers into one big hive computer. The BBC is asking you to donate your spare computer cycles to help predict how the climate is going to change. The software software kicks in when you’re not using the computer – so you’re doing your bit for the future of the planet without any impact on your working day or leisure time.
