Alienware ships PCs with NVIDIA GeForce 7950 GX2 Graphics Card

Alienware is to ship PCs featuring the fastest single graphics card available – the NVIDIA GeForce 7950 GX2. The models in question being the Area-51 7500 and the AuroraT 7500 desktops.

The GeForce 7950 GX2 delivers the power of two graphics processing units (GPUs) on a single graphics card, whilst offering gamers the chance to enjoy extreme high-definition gaming. With 1GB of onboard graphics memory, the GeForce 7950 GX2 delivers "ultra-realistic" visual effects from the latest games. The GeForce 7950 GX2 also includes dual dual-link DVI connectors to power high-definition displays at resolutions up to 2560×1600. Ideal for video as well as games and with NVIDIA PureVideoT technology, it provides a fully HDCP-capable solution for HD DVD and Blu-ray disc playback.

You can pick up an Area-51 7500 from £1,575 and an Aurora 7500 from £1,467, excluding delivery.
