Cheap Tosh laptops if England win World Cup

Here’s another reason to wish Rooney’s foot well – a cheaper Toshiba notebook! Yes, the Japanese giant (and World Cup IT sponsor) is planning to re-live the spirit of ’66 by offering 66 per cent back on any of its laptops featuring Intel Centrino Duo technology if England win the World Cup.

Note that’s 66 per cent "back", not "off" – you have to buy one, register it and hope the lads do us proud. Or you can buy five – there’s no limit on purchases. As an example saving, if you were to pick up the new Toshiba Qosmio G30 notebook for £1,500 and register it, a £990 refund would be heading your way if Sven’s men did the business.

Sadly, it doesn’t look like the offer will extend to the wonderful Toshiba Dynabook TX FIFA Version notebook, which is still not confirmed for a UK launch. We live in hope.
