CES 2006: the $5 MP3 player

Here’s a prediction for 2006. They’ll be giving away MP3 players in cereal packets. Just you wait. I bet the folks from Cereal Partners are already eyeing up the New Lane NL-13003. Why? Cos it costs just $5. Obviously you don’t get any flash memory storage, but it does play MP3 and WMAs and is tiny enough to slip into a packet of Cheerios. Let’s just hope young Alfie doesn’t choke on it. Btw we have sacked the snapper.
