At CES in Las Vegas Cyberhome demonstrated a portable entertainment solution (the LAP-9100) for the kitchen. At first glance it looks a lot like the Icebox – a kitchen-based product that combines DVD player with e-mail internet access. However, unfortunately it’s a little more basic. Essentially it’s a 9inch portable DVD player which can be mounted underneath a kitchen or bathroom cabinet to keep it clutter free. Available in the US now, it costs $349. Look out for it in Europe later this year.
