Perhaps in response to Vodafone’s 3G launch, which marked the arrival of 6 new 3G handsets onto the market, 3 has gone and announced a load of new phones as well. The company has added another six handsets to its range, including the Motorola E1000 – a phone also launching with Vodafone. While the E1000 is more for the youth market, Moto’s A1000 is a high-end handset and the C975 is its low-end offering.
A pair of clamshell handsets from LG – the U8130 and the U8138 – will be joining the rest of LG’s 3 line. The e338 from NEC is the smallest 3G phone to be launched so far. In addition to the usual 3 video facilities, these three handsets will also offer MP3 music players and an email app.
