The Kanguru Fire Flash is the first Firewire flash memory drive. It’s available in sizes ranging from 128MB to 1GB and is driverless on all current operating systems so you can stick it into most computers and use it immediately. The data transfer rate is 400Mbps, which makes the 11Mbps you get from a USB memory key look a bit sorry.
They’re on sale in the US with prices starting from $69.95. Kanguru does ship to the UK, but you have to pay via wire transfer. No doubt a a Brit company like Lindy will pick it up soon.
