While the temptation to splurge out on an iPad is probably hitting fever pitch right now, it's worth remembering that it isn't without its own problems. There's no multi-tasking, no camera and no flash support. Plus, the extra £130 it's going to cost for the all-but-vital 3G connection packed in with the second wave of models is a pretty steep ask.
So let's take a second to consider the many alternatives hitting shelves this year. CES 2010 was awash with tablets and e-readers, and here are our favourites from Viliv, Dell, HP, enTourage, MSI and Plastic Logic.

So, among all these, which one is the best?
They are all utter rubbish and don't compare to the iPad - the QUE is monochrome and costs $650 for a 4GB version with wi-fi; I don't remember the names of the others but the first one looked like a a child's toy; one was a phone not a tablet; the dell is a only a little larger than a phone etc. Quite frankly the only one that may ome close is teh HP but that remains to be seen.
Well the Ipad is really insufficient on so many levels the biggest of which is it doesn't support flash. Mr. Jobs problem with flash is that he didn't create it that's his problem with it.
WHY is multitasking an issue?! i just dont understand how something that is going to be 100% fixed in a couple of weeks is in the slightest but an issue!
