With LinkedIn’s average age of user being over 29 years of age, and all with strong business leanings, it does make sense for Obama to be reaching for new voters via the site. He currently has 150 friends, or ‘connections’ on there, a considerably small number for the site, which suggests he isn’t following in the footsteps of Tila Tequila and adding everyone and their Mums.
