Asia gets its hands on the gold LG Shine : Tech Digest

Bah. LG recently announced that it's releasing a pink Shine handset for Christmas here, but Asian markets are getting a far blingier gold edition. I feel like leading a street protest until they release it here too.

Apart from the colour, it sounds like it's the same as previous Shine models, and it's due to go on sale in Asia soon, where LG reckons there's strong demand for it. The UK could do with more golden mobiles, so hopefully it'll come out here in due course. Until then, we'll have to make do with pink.
