Motorola has unveiled the latest addition to the moto g family, the moto g22. Equipped with a 50MP quad-camera system, a fluid 6.5″ 90 Hz Max Vision display and a long-lasting 5,000 mAh battery, it will be available from mid-March for £139.

Motorola claims that with the new moto g22 users can experience sharper, more vibrant photos with 4x better low light sensitivity thanks to the 50MP main camera sensor with Quad Pixel technology. Motorola has also included a 118º ultra-wide camera lens to squeeze 4x more in the frame when capturing a cityscape or a group family photo with the ultra-wide lens.

There is a dedicated depth sensor that turns everyday photos into professional-looking portraits. Also on board is a Macro Vision camera for capturing extreme close-ups and a 16MP selfie camera.

Motorola claims the new moto g device makes gaming extremely easy with a 90Hz refresh rate that offers a more seamless viewing experience. The device is crafted from durable acrylate polymer and finished with an optical plating process and features a water-repellent design for protection from spills and splashes

Available in Iceberg Blue, Cosmic Black, or Pearl White designs, the moto g22 also comes with a 5000 mAh battery so users can work or play away from a power outlet for longer. Android 12 is available on the device and with My UX the phone boasts Fast Torch, Quick capture, Three finger screenshot, and more.

The moto g22 will arrive in the UK in mid-March in two colours: Cosmic Black and Iceberg Blue. The device will be available with a starting MSRP of £139.99 at Amazon, Argos, Currys, Giff Gaff, John Lewis & Partners, O2, Tesco and motorola.co.uk.
