A compact version of Mi 9, it features Qualcomm’s brand new Snapdragon 712 processor, an upgrade to the Snapdragon 710 chipset.
The phone, which Xiaomi claims is comparable to a classic phone with a 5.1 inch screen, is designed for one-hand use and features a 5.99 inch large Dot Drop display.
Similar to Mi 9, Mi 9 SE offers LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.1 storage, Samsung AMOLED screen, holographic rainbow spectrum surface on the back cover, Sony IMX586 sensor as well as the latest in-screen fingerprint sensor module.
The Mi 9 SE will be available on June 6th at 12.00 noon on mi.com/uk starting from £349 for the 6GB+64GB variant and £399 for 6GB+128GB. Mi.com will have availability of the 64GB variant in Ocean Blue and the 128GB variant in Piano Black and Ocean Blue from June 6th.
Mi 9 SE is also available at the London Mi Store, Westfield White City in both 6+64GB (Ocean Blue) and 6+128GB (Piano Black) starting from June 6th. The smartphone is also planned to be released on other channels as well in the coming weeks.
