The popular battle royale game has become one of the biggest games in the world partly because of the level of accessibility it offers – it can be played for free across all major consoles and PCs as well as on mobile devices.
In its latest update, developer Epic Games confirmed “Bluetooth controller support has arrived in mobile on supported devices”.
It did not specify which devices would be compatible, but did confirm which controllers would support the new feature.
On Android, Epic said “most Bluetooth controller adaptors, such as Steelseries Stratus XL, Gamevice, XBox1, Razer Raiju, and Moto Gamepad” were supported, with MFi controllers such as the Steelseries Nimbus and Gamevice supported on iOS.
The update also included a new snowman-shaped Chiller Grenade, as well as a range of other bug fixes.
