At last! Google Glass, the fabled wearable headset is now available in the UK.
Since its announcement in 2012 it has only been available in America – initially to developers, but more recently to the general public. Brilliantly though, it has just appeared on the Google Play Store for the UK. The only snag is the price tag, as it’ll set you back £1000.
Glass is not yet a finished product – the “Explorer Edition” as it is known is still aimed at power users, and the software is still in beta. When the product is ready for the primetime, presumably the price will come down and the announcement will be made with much more of a fanfare.
Still, if you want Google Glass for use on your private jet, now’s your chance.
