Can a graphing calculator be as cool as an iPad?

In short, “no”, but that’s not going to stop HP from trying.
As spotted by @PaulSq on Twitter, the company has made an almost Apple-style advert for their latest graphical calculator, the “HP Prime” – showing of the sleek hardware and the clever features available on the device. Sadly they didn’t go as far as having dancing silhouettes of mathematicians.
I just hope that somewhere, in a parallel universe, there’s an entire tech scene devoted to calculator rumours, blurry leaked photos of forthcoming calculators and so on.
Okay, I admit it – I’d quite like an HP Prime after watching that.
