Ever wanted to access the stuff you have saved on an SD memory card or a USB drive on your phone? The French company PNY has come up with a clever solution for this problem.

The Wireless Media Reader is a device smaller than a mobile phone, and sports both a USB port and an SD card slot. One your memory card is plugged in, switch it on and the device will create it’s own wireless hotspot, which can be connected to on your phone – and then using their app, you can access the files within, wirelessly.

Better still, there’s even a built in battery, so you won’t be tied to your house – you could conceivably sling this in your bag, and then sit on the bus watching videos playing off of it wirelessly.

If you want to get your hands on one, it’ll be available from “Dixons Retail Stores” (so, Currys/PC World then…) for £79.99.
