New 2012 Apple iMac computers on the way as stocks run low?

imac-2011.jpgApple’s pretty-as-a-picture iMac all-in-one computers missed out on a spec bump at this years WWDC, where new MacBook Pro with Retina Display and MacBook Air laptops were revealed. However, it’s now looking as though Apple are ready to reveal their desktop hand.

As is tradition with the Cupertino company, they appear to be letting current stocks run dry before revealing this year’s model. Third-party resellers across the States are announcing that they’re running out of iMacs, with no new stock to meet demand.

With the last iMac updated nearly a year ago, Apple’s desktop machines are well overdue a refresh. Whether it’s simply a matter of supply issues or that Apple are preparing to lift the covers off a new line, for the time being at least, remains to be seen. I for one wouldn’t say no to a Retina Display iMac.
