Nintendo unveil life-size Mario Kart Racers

Car stuff, Gaming, Tech Digest news

Probably one of the strangest, but most exciting, announcements made in car history. To celebrate the launch of Mario Kart 7 for the 3DS, Nintendo teamed up with West Coast Customs to bring you these beautiful full size karts from the game.

West Coast customs, famous for their participation in MTV’s Pimp My Ride, must have had a very different experience making these cars than any of their usual jobs attaching LCD TV’s to the backs of seats, adding rims and new tyres. On these karts they had to add gliders, propellors and space to stach red and green shells.

A new way of advertising a game for sure, at the LA motor Show, must have been a surprise for some of the people there to see Mario and Luigi showing off their Pimped rides but very innovative from Nintendo. The game is released in early December and from early game play is going to be bringing back the classic feel of the Mario kart games with some great new additions to the karts and power ups.
