Samsung’s Nexus Prime handset has been caught in the wild and put in a compromsing position by a blogger over at TheDroidGuy, who have spilt the beans on all it’s deepest, darkest specsheet secrets.

Claiming to have nabbed a sneak peek from a Samsung executive at Verizon Developer’s conference in Las Vegas, TheDroidGuy describe the Nexus Prime as a slightly chubbier Nexus S (pictured).

Under the hood sits an OMAP dual-core processor. An 8MP camera sits on the back, with a 2MP one for video calling up the front. NFC functionality and HDMI output round out the feature list, in a chassis that sports a single iPhone-style home button.

The Nexus Prime is expected to launch as the reference hardware for the newest build of Android, the version codenamed Ice Cream Sandwich.

A November release is expected for the Nexus Prime.
