psn-thumb.jpgAs suggested on Friday by the news that developers had regained access to the PSN, Sony’s online PSP and PS3 network has come back online, with the majority of its features working once more.

Returning services include

-PlayStation Network and Qriocity sign-in

-Online play on the PS3 and PSP

-Playback of rented video content from the PlayStation Network Video Delivery Service

-Music streaming from Qriocity

-Access to 3rd party apps like Hulu, Netflix and Vudu

-Access to friends lists and trophy comparisons

-Access to PlayStation Home

Before users will have access to the restored features, they’ll need to update their system firmware to version 3.61, as well as change their passwords.

The PlayStation Network Store however remains down, and is not expected to relaunch until the end of May 2011.
