ipad.jpgMore rumours flying around the blogosphere today concerning the heavily anticipated iPad 2 launch.

Kicking off with some bad news from Engadget, it looks as though Apple’s newest tablet will make its debut without any screen resolution jump or SD card slot. According to Engadget these sources have been “dead right” with their calls on previous Apple launches, this time citing “engineering issues” that have caused some last minute changes to the production of the tablets.

However, the iPad 2 will apparently launch with a thinner body, more RAM (512MB to be exact) a faster A5 CPU, iOS 5 and dual front-and-rear facing cameras.

What Apple giveth with one hand they taketh awayeth with the other…eth.

We’ll be heading down to the Apple media event on March 2nd so head back here at 6pm on Wednesday night for all the details of what’s set to go down.
