Nintendo 3DS Euro press conference hints at Spring launch

Nintendo’s long-awaited Nintendo 3DS console could be the star of a European press conference due to take place in Amsterdam on 19th January. Are we to finally get a solid UK release date for the auto-stereoscopic 3D handheld?

Set for release in Japan on February 26th, we’ve yet to be given any European release details more specific than a pre-March 2011 launch. Could The 3DS make it to the shores of Blighty before March starts?

We’re still waiting on pricing too, though a Japanese retail cost of 25,000 yen suggests a UK price of between £200 and £250.
