Video: Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock set list trailer revealed

For those about to rock … we suggest you check out the above trailer. It’s the latest clip from Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock, due for release on the 28th of September on Xbox 360, Wii and PS3.

The trailer reveals a few new snippets of the 90+ tracks to strum along with on your plastic axes, which include the likes of Queen, Muse, Dire Straits and Kiss.

It’s surprisingly apparently a more story driven affair this time too. In what must be a little nod to Brutal Legend, your shredding skills will also help you battle the forces of evil in a wild story narrated by Kiss main-man Gene Simmons, owner of the longest tongue in rock n’ roll history.

So will a ton of new tracks and a focussed campaign mode be enough to keep the Guitar Hero franchise from hitting a bum-note, or have all the would-be Hendrixes moved on to the real-deal by now?
