Gateway NS notebook.jpgAcer’s business branch Gateway are set to launch a new range of notebooks. The NS series will feature four different models with a range of different specs to tickle your fancy.

The entry-level model is the NS10. At 11.6 inches in size it’s also the most portable, packing in either an Intel i3 or i5 processor and an Intel HD Graphics GPU.

The other three models (the 13.3 inch NS30, the 14 inch NS41 and 15.6 inch NS51) can sport either a i3, i5 or i7 chipset, and are also packing in Nvidia GeForce 310M graphics cards.

Every PC in the range can have as much as 4GB of DDR3 RAM and hard drives up to 640GB or solid state drives up to 160GB. Each also comes pre-installed with a copy of Windows 7 Home Professional (64 or 32 bit), while the LED backlit screens have a max resolution of 1366 x 768.

All machines also feature an optical drive and multi-card reader, as well as 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0, while the battery should see you through a respectable 8 hours worth of use.

Due out this month, keep an eagle-eye out for these units in shops any day now.
