iPad running iBookSteve Jobs has taken to the stage at WWDC 2010, and his first announcement concerned the iPad. Not only has it sold some 2 million units since launch, Apple now sell a tablet every 3 seconds too.

Steve Jobs also revealed that the iPad is set to get full support for PDF format files in the native state, as well as getting a seperate visual bookshelf to store them on and full bookmark support. It looks pretty sweet, with nicely sized thumbs of the PDFs on show.

More from WWDC 2010 here as we get it!
