Motorola's GPS-friendly MING A1600 and A1800 handsets get an official launch

Mobile phones

moto_ming.jpgMotorola has a couple of GPS-friendly clamshells on the market – but perhaps calling them ‘MING’ isn’t the wisest move.

The handsets in question are actually called the MING A1600 and A1800, effectively identical and featuring that navigation plus 2.4-inch QVGA touch screen, 3MP camera, Bluetooth, FM radio, a microSD slot but no Wi-Fi. The A1800 also sneaks in two sim card slots.

No news on price or shelf date – we’ll keep you posted.
