pana_dmcfx500.jpgPanasonic has introduced a new high-end Lumix – the 10.1 megapixel DMC-FX500.

Features include a 3-inch touchscreen display, 25mm ultra-wide-angle Leica lens, 5x optical zoom, a HD movie mode, able to record at 1,280 x 720 at 30fps (or less if you prefer), a high-speed burst shooting mode, an auto focus and Intelligent Auto mode for beginners, red-eye correction, image stabiliser, face detection and intelligent ISO.

All of that packed into a slimline black or silver case. No news on UK price or availability, although a price of around $400 is quoted for the US market.
