Medion offers two dual-core notebooks at Sainsbury’s

Medion continues the tried and tested strategy of offering bland-looking, budget-priced PCs on supermarket shelves, the latest offers being the MD96624 and MD96625 dual-core notebooks.

The MD96625 has an Intel Core 2 Duo T5450 1.66GHz dual-core processor, NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS graphics and 2GB RAM, along with a 17-inch widescreen display, high-definition audio, HDMI connectivity, Wi-Fi and an integrated 1.3MP webcam. It’s priced at £499.99.

The Medion MD96624 has a dual-core AMD Turion 1.6 GHz processor, NVIDIA GeForce Go 6100 graphics, 160GB hard drive, 2GB RAM, a 14.1” WXGA widescreen display and wireless connectivity. Yours for £399.99.

Both Medion notebooks come with Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium edition, Nero Burning ROM 7 Essentials including Nero Recode 2 Essentials and a BullGuard Internet Security Suite 90-day trial. Expect them instore from mid-February.
