When Canon launches a product, they don’t just do it lazily, on no, they announce sixteen of the power-zapping things. Included in the new line-up of photo-snappers are three new PowerShot models, the A470, A580 and A590 IS (pictured).

Starting with the first, the entry-level camera has just 7.1-megapixels, 3.4x optical zoom lens and comes in four different colours, silver, blue, red and green. It will be priced at £109 when it launches in March.

Moving up, the A580 and A590 IS both have 8.0-megapixels, a 4x optical zoom lens, plus a whole host of capabilities for the latter, such as Optical Image Stabilizer, full manual control and a range of optional lens accessories. Both these models will be £139 and £159 each.
